The purpose of Girl Scouts of the USA is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, the organization provides a safe, supportive environment where girls can explore their strengths, take on challenges, and develop leadership skills.
Through its programs, Girl Scouts aim to:
