First United Methodist Church of Parkersburg is a community of faith built on a foundation of deep tradition looking forward to a visionary future. Our core commitment is to love and care for our neighbors, meeting their physical, social, and spiritual needs with hospitality, affection and service.
Our congregation has been in Parkersburg for 225 years. Our beautiful neo-Gothic church with Tudor-arched openings is replete throughout with beautifully stained glass windows. The church is 114 years old and very much shares the historic beauty of the otherwise residential Julia-Ann District. We hope you choose to visit with us!
